“The Great Commission”® monumental bronze sculpture symbolically unites the World, the Word, and the Rock. The sculpture visually communicates God’s desire to spread the Gospel. The Holy Spirit directed artist, Max Greiner, Jr. to create this historically unique composition on January 15, 1996. Max prayed with a man over the phone and the Holy Spirit gave the sculptor a vision while on the call. Later, on February 6, 1996, a stranger walked up and told Greiner he should create a sculpture with a globe and Bible, confirming the artist’s original vision!
