Each spring, beautiful butterflies are attracted to the blooming native plants at the art park. Artist, Max Greiner, Jr. photographed a Tiger Swallowtail butterfly (Papilio glaucus) drinking from a Pride of Barbados (Caesalpinia pulcherrima) in front of the world famous, seven story sculpture, “The Empty Cross.” Tourists from around the world flock to see the free spiritual garden every Easter. The 24.5-acre park is in the top 10% of tourist attractions worldwide, according to Trip Advisor.
